StorySnap ("we", "our", "us") is an augmented reality photo album platform operated by NAP Designs. This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

2. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create an account, we collect your email address and password (stored securely via Supabase Auth).

Album & Media Data

Photographers and businesses upload photos and videos to create AR albums. These files are stored securely in our cloud storage.

Usage Data

We collect scan events, device type, and timestamps for analytics purposes.

Camera Access

The app requires camera access for AR scanning. Camera frames are processed on-device only. We do not transmit or store camera footage.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and maintain the StorySnap service
• To authenticate users and manage album access
• To generate analytics for album creators
• To improve our AR matching technology

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with:

• Supabase — authentication, database, and file storage
• Google ARCore — on-device AR processing (no data transmitted)
• PostHog — anonymized product analytics

5. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security including encrypted transmission (TLS), row-level security policies, and secure authentication.

6. Data Retention

Your data is retained as long as your account is active. Album creators can delete albums and all associated media at any time.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, delete, and export your personal data.

8. Children's Privacy

StorySnap is not intended for children under 13.
